"Prospector is the best
conditioned golf course I've
ever played."
Jack Nicklaus at the courses open in '98.
Golf at Superstition
Mountain is more than just a game - it is a captivating experience. Nestled along the edge
of the legendary Superstition Mountains, Lost Gold and Prospector are two championship
golf courses, each with its own unique personality and its own promise for an individually
challenging golf experience.
Created by the
renowned design team of Jack Nicklaus and his sons, Jack II and Gary, these courses have
already achieved significant recognition and praise.
Prospector, which
opened in the spring of 1998, has already gathered rave reviews. It's signature hole is
the par-5, 18th - a beautifully sculpted hole with a slight dogleg and an oasis-like
lake running up the left side.
Lost Gold is a
links-styled course that presents a different set of challenges for golfers than the
Prospector course. It completes the legendary Superstition Mountain trail while weaving
through magnificient desert terrain explored centuries ago by conquistadors in search of
the cities of Cibola.
Whichever courses
you prefer, the stunning views of the Superstition Mountains will make your round an
unforgettable experience. |
